Rules:
Who can enter:
Anyone who has reached the age of majority (19 years of age) and who will
be having a private (i.e. guests do not pay to attend*) gathering on
Vancouver Island on or before September 30th, 2014.
How to enter:
On Facebook: Comment using the hashtag #RockTheBBQ
On Twitter: Tweet using #RockTheBBQ

Entries per person:
Limited to one per day per mechanism (i.e. one use of a Facebook hashtag
per day. One use of a Twitter hashtag per day and one ballet per person per
show). Multiple entries are permitted as long as they are on a separate day
(One day equals the 24-hour period from 12:00am to 11:59pm).
Anyone found to be using fake/duplicate accounts to enter more than is
outlined above (voting fraud) will be automatically disqualified.
Entry deadline:
Entries will be accepted up to midnight on June 29th, 2014
Draw date:
The winner will be drawn at random at noon on June 30th, 2014
The prize:
Dave Cormier will attend your summer event/gathering and play an acoustic
set of selected songs for 2 hours and leave the host(s) with a copy of his
CD.
Limitations:
Events/gatherings are limited to Vancouver Island.
Availability is subject to Dave’s gig schedule

Dave Cormier Music and its employees hold no responsibility for the event’s
success or other outcomes.
Dave Cormier will make every attempt to honour the appointment, but will
not be held responsible if anything unforeseen prevents his attendance
(sickness or other emergencies) and the winner will not hold Dave Cormier
or Dave Cormier Music responsible for any personal losses or
inconveniences.
It is the responsibility of the winner to create a safe space for guests
and to follow/research local laws for private/public gatherings including,
but not limited to, noise, parking, garbage removal, etc.

Requirements:
Dave Cormier Music reserves the right to sell CDs and/or hand out
promotional materials at the event.
In the case of inclement weather, a protected space will need to be
available to protect all of the equipment during the performance.
Access to power for the amp, microphone or other equipment brought to
provide a full music experience.
Understand that Dave Cormier may bring a support musician and/or support
staff to attend and help.
Release of information:
By entering, the winner/recipient of the prize agrees that photos and/or
videos of the event may be taken and used by Dave Cormier Music in the
spirit of promotion, fun and sharing.
* The exception to this would be if the gathering were to be for a type of
fundraising event and donations (money, cans of food, clothing) were
collected to give to the cause – not for the profit of the organizers.
